Attack on Ryots: YSRC men to face action
HYDERABAD: The farmers who were allegedly beaten up by Macherla YSRC MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy's supporters at Dachepalli and Machavaram mandals in Guntur district a few days ago approached chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and explained the horror they went through on that fateful day.
The incident took place when farmers raised crops in the lands in two mandals in Guntur district acquired by Saraswati Power Industries promoted by YSRC chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's family members. Later, the state government cancelled the limestone mining lease given to the company since it had not set up a cement factory as promised.
The CM told them that he would take stern action against the culprits at his camp office in Hyderabad this evening.
