Naidu conducts aerial survey Hyderabad, Oct 13 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Monday conducted the aerial survey of areas affected due to cyclone Hudhud.
Accompanied with Deputy CM Chinarajappa and Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, the Chief Minister conducted the aerial survey of affected areas of Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam. He boarded a special flight from Rajahmundry to conduct the survey.
Briefing the media persons earlier, Naidu informed that special teams comprising nearly 500 officers have been formed to carry out the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of affected people. One IAS officer has been made incharge of one mandal.
Meanwhile, he directed the officials to ensure the supply of food and water packets in the affected areas.
