Pawan donates 50 lakh for Hudhud relief Hyderabad, October 14: Hudhud cyclone has battered the north coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh and life has come to a stand still with many days requiring to restore normalcy.
With affected areas still in dark without power and roads still not tread-able, experts have plunged into action to estimate the losses of the cyclone!
Meanwhile, the Telugu film stars showing generous side. Ram Charan already announced a donation of Rs.15 lakh for the victims of cyclone 'Hudhud'. He has also urged his fans to join him in this endeavor to reach out to as many people as possible. Now another mega hero came forward to help the victims.
Actor and Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan has announced 50 lakh monetary help to the victims of Hudhud Cyclone in Uttarandhra. Pawan Kalyan will be sending the 50 Lakhs Cheque to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Pawan Kalyan has appreciated the relief measures taken by the Central and State governments.
'I am deeply anguished by the calamity that has swept through Vizag and Uttara Andhra. The plight of lakhs of people who have been destabilised is unimaginable. My heart aches for them. It is in times like these that we should step forward beyond parties and politics and come together as one force to overcome this calamity.
Even as all efforts are being made by the Central and State Governments, as an individual I will be handing over Rs.50 lakhs towards the CM Relief Fund. I appeal to all my fans and supporters to step out and participate in the relief operations and do their best to bring in normalcy at the earliest.
I will be personally visiting the affected areas soon to extend my support and solidarity,' said Pawan Kalyan in his statement.
People from all over the country have started to contribute towards the catastrophe and our own star Pawan Kalyan has also decided to contribute on his behalf. Hope, other actors will also come forward to help hudhud sufferers.
