AP Govt appeals for donations for cyclone relief Hyderabad, Oct 17 (INN): In view of the extensive damage by the severe cyclonic storm Hudhud in Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has appealed to the general Public to donate generously to the CM's Relief Fund to take up restoration, relief and rehabilitation works.
Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao has in a general appeal solicited that the donations to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund would be 100 per cent exempted from the Income Tax under 80G of the IT Act.

The public have been requested to cooperate and contribute liberally in the massive efforts for rebuilding the cyclone hit North-Coastal Andhra districts particularly Visakhapatnam city.
