Central Team to visit cyclone-hit Vizag on Oct 21
Hyderabad, Oct 17 (INN): A team of Commerce and Industry Ministry officials will visit Visakhapatnam and other coastal districts on October 21 to assess damages to industries caused by cyclone 'Hudhud'.
Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman has deputed two senior Ministry officials - Rajeev Arora, Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce and DV Prasad, Joint Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion ' to assess the damage caused to various industrial projects, including Special Economic Zones in Visakhapatnam, and suggest restoration measures. Arora and Prasad will be going to the cyclone ravaged place on October 21.
