Water Grid will be completed in single phase: KTR
Hyderabad, Oct 27 (INN): Telangana Panchayat Raj Minister K Tarakarama Rao has assured that the proposed Water Grid for Telangana State would be of international standard.
Addressing a meeting with the representatives of nearly 50 pipe manufacturing companies at Telangana Department of Rural Development Bhavan here on Monday, KTR said that the government proposes to complete the entire project in three-and-a-half months time by taking up construction in a single phase.
He said companies with high credentials and international repute would be encouraged to take up the project. He also assured that the tender process would be conducted in a transparent manner.
KTR said that there would be no compromise on the quality of Water Grid and the entire project would be executed in a swift and transparent manner.
