OU to conduct seminar on corruption today Hyderabad, Oct 28 (INN): The University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad is organizing a one day seminar on 'Combating corruption- Technology as an enabler' in association with Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., Southern Region Transmission Systems ' I, Secunderabad.
This seminar is scheduled on Wednesday at ECE Auditorium, University College of Engineering, Osmania University at 10 AM as a part of this year's activity during Vigilance Awareness week. This one day seminar is aimed at advocating leveraging of technology in combating corruption in public life in India. It is aimed at increasing awareness on the role of technological initiatives and the need for harnessing its benefits in fighting corruption.
Eminent personalities who toiled their lives in combating corruption through technological initiatives will be invited to share their experiences. Dr. S. Subba Rao, Surveyor General of India, will be the Chief Guest, V. Shekar, Executive Director, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, will be the Guest of Honour for the Inauguration. For valedictory function, Justice L. Narsimha Reddy, Judge High Court of A.P. and Telangana, is the Chief Guest and Prof. K. Prathap Reddy, Registrar, Osmania University, Hyderabad, is the Guest of Honour, according to a press release.
