Pending VUDA projects will be completed soon VISAKHAPATNAM: Municipal Administration minister P Narayana said that the Government would complete the pending projects of VUDA soon.
After inspecting the Haritha row housing projects at Kommadi here, Narayana said that the project had been initiated in 2009, in which 710 flats are available for all classes of people. Yendada layout has been established in seven acres and laying of BT roads is also completed, he added.
Narayana said that out of 88 houses in the row housing projects, 29 have been sold out and 59 will go under hammer soon. The minister said that some of the houses suffered damage in the cyclone Hudhud, which would be repaired at the earliest.
As the IT hub is coming up adjacent to the houses, there should be no concern over the sale of houses, the minister added. Meanwhile, as a part of his inspection, Narayana visited Thotlakonda, and asked the officials to develop the Buddhist complex as a tourist spot in the city.
