BJP wants AP govt to dispel farmers' fears GUNTUR: BJP state president and MP K Haribabu has asked the state government to address the fears of farmers before going ahead with land pooling for the construction of the capital city.
Addressing a press conference here, he said that the apprehensions of farmers should be dispelled before the government takes up land acquirement for the capital city. He said that there is no need to establish all the government offices at one place in the capital city.
Reacting to the recent statement of Social welfare minister Ravela Kishore Babu that the Telugu Desam would review its alliance with the BJP in the state, Haribabu said that there was no need to give importance to his comments. 'It is not Ravela Kishore Babu but the TDP high command and Chandrababu Naidu are to consider the alliance issue,' he felt.
