Telangana roads to get face lift by May HYDERABAD: By May next, the roads in the state are likely to get a facelift. As part of the programme, repair works for 14,500 km highways, conversion of 4,160 km metal roads to BT roads and development of 20,000 km mud roads will be carried out by May.
Chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao instructed the ministers to extensively tour all districts to oversee the project works-- both restoration of lakes and development of roads -- after the conclusion of Assembly session on November 22.
He held a review meeting with cabinet sub-committee constituted for the purpose and examined the proposals.
