TG Venkatesh wants two more capitals for Andhra HYDERABAD: Even as Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is trying to find ways to pacify the agitating farmers, belonging to the villages, identified for construction of new capital near Vijayawada/Guntur, his party leader and former minister TG Venkatesh is trying to compound the 'capital woes' of Naidu.
The maverick politico, who had been keeping himself away from the media ever since he lost the Assembly polls, suddenly surfaced before the media and made sensational comments on new capital of AP. Venkatesh, who hails from Rayalaseema, has demanded Naidu's government to announce 'Summer' and 'Winter' capitals for AP.
'It is better for the government to set up one capital in Rayalaseema and another in North Andhra. The two should be summer and winter capitals of the state. Or else, AP would be divided into three states soon,' he remarked. Interestingly, Venkatesh also demanded one more capital for TS, besides the existing capital, Hyderabad.
