Mad teacher beats six year old boy to death in Nalgonda NALGONDA: A six-year-old boy breathed his last hours after being brutally beaten up by his teacher at Tirumalagiri in Anumula mandal, Nalgonda district late on Saturday night.
According to police, Jetavath Chandu (6), a Class I student of the Greatway School, was thrashed by his mathematics teacher Sangeetha for failing to do his homework. She had allegedly smashed his head against the wall.
As Chandu lost his consciousness, the school management informed his parents, Shankar and Bujji, that he fell sick. The shocked couple rushed to the school and immediately admitted the child to a hospital in Halia. Later, they shifted him to a hospital at Narketpally.
As his condition worsened, he was rushed to Hyderabad. Unfortunately, he died midway. Chandu's parents and locals attacked the school on Sunday, demanding action against the teacher and the management. The police booked a case of suspicious death.
