BJP leaders felicitate Dattatreyya
Hyderabad, Nov 14 (INN): Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreyya was given a warm reception at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on his arrival to the city for the first time after assuming charge as the Union Minister.
Excise Minister T Padma Rao received Dattatreyya on behalf of the Telangana Government. Hundreds of BJP workers also assembled at the airport to receive the new Union Labour Minister.
Later, Dattatreyya was felicitated at the State BJP office at Nampally. Speaking on the occasion, he thanked the people of Secunderabad for elected him as the MP.
He said his induction into the Union Cabinet has increased his responsibility towards the people. Being the lone minister from Telangana, he said he would try to act as the mediator between the State and Centre.
BJP State President G Kishan Reddy, former minister Nagam Janardhan Reddy, party MLAs and other leaders also participated.
