MIM demands CBI probe into Dalit family's murder Hyderabad, Nov 15 (INN): The All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen demanded CBI probe into the horrific murder of three members of Dalit family in Ahmednagar of Maharashtra.
MIM president Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday visited the village of Javkhede Khalsa in Pathardi Taluk in a show of solidarity with the bereaved and condemned the murders of Sanjay Jadhav, his wife Jaisree and their teenage son Sunil as a 'heinous and inhuman'.
Asaduddin Owaisi said that the MIM would leave no stone unturned to see that Justice is done in this case and this is not a first incident when Dalits had been targeted.
'Ahmednagar District has witnessed many such incidents over the past few months. We will raise this issue in full force during the winter sessions of State Legislature and we also plan to take it up in Parliament,' he said.
Aurangabad Central MLA Imtiaz Jaleel, former Minister Gangadhar Gade, Dr. Gaffar Qadri, Javed Qureshi and other Dalit leaders have participated in the visit.
