Vinayak Sagar lake proposal under consideration
Hyderabad, Nov 15 (INN): Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy on Saturday admitted that the State Government was considering the proposal to construct a new lake called Vinayaka Sagar near Indira Park.
In his reply to a question raised by MLA M Yadagiri Reddy and others during Question Hour in the Telangana State Legislative Assembly, the minister said that the proposal was under active consideration of the government.
It may be mentioned that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has proposed construction of Vinayak Sagar, especially for immersion of Ganesh idols and to reduce pollution of Hussainsagar lake.
