Ganta, Ayyanna cross swords again, Naidu douses fire Hyderabad, November 15: Old rivalries between two ministers of Andhra Pradesh are revived and pose a new trouble to TDP. The cold war between ministers of Visakhapatnam district, Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Chintakayala Ayyanapathrudu, once again played out in public with regard to transfer of RDO.
The government has recently transferred the present RDO of Visakhapatnam Venkata Murali and posted one Ramachandra Reddy in his place. However, when Reddy meets district collector to take charge he was told that his posting orders are yet to reach him.
The development angered minister Ayyannapatrudu to no end. He felt his arch rival and ministerial colleague Ganta Srinivasa Rao was behind the episode and publicly chided Ganta for his mischievous ways. Not stopping at that Ayyanna, accompanied by his party's Visakhapatnam East MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna, rushed to CMO and pulled up the officials for withholding the transfer orders of RDO Ramachandra Reddy. Ayyanna, it was learnt, even gave a tongue lashing to the CMO officials.
The panchayat between the two came in front of the chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu today. The CMO officials complained to Chandrababu Naidu about harsh behavior of Ayyana Patrudu. Naidu summoned both the ministers and spoke to them separately. For now the fire between the two ministers was doused.
