Modi Praised Sister Cities Hyderabad, Brisbane Hyderabad, Nov 16 (INN): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday praised the sister-city relationship between Hyderabad and Brisbane.
In his address at at civic reception hosted by Premier of Queensland and The Lord Mayor Of Brisbane, the Prime Minister said," "Brisbane has emerged as centre of advanced technology; at the same time Hyderabad is also known as Cyberabad. It is natural that the two cities have a sister-city relationship. I truly welcome the engagement between states and cities. Relations between countries can prosper fully only if we bring our states and cities together."
Brisbane is the capital and most populous city in the Australian state of Queensland, and the third most populous city in Australia. Brisbane's metropolitan area has a population of 22.4 lakhs, and the South East Queensland urban conurbation, centred on Brisbane, encompasses a population of more than 30 lakh people.
