Cong preventing debate on public issues: Minister
Hyderabad, Nov 17 (INN): Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy on Monday accused the Congress MLAs of trying to prevent debates on public issues in the Telangana State Legislative Assembly.
The Education Minister was upset with the uproar created by the Congress MLAs in the House when Speaker S Madhusudan Chary's asked him to present the budget demands for his department. He alleged that the Congress MLAs were avoiding discussions on issues concerning common man.
He said several questions in the Question Hour were related to SCs and STs and other sections of the society. However, by stalling the proceedings, the Congress MLAs were sending a wrong message among the people, he alleged.
