Janmabhoomi Maa Vooru to begin from Jan 2 Hyderabad, Dec 23 (INN): The 'Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru' (JBMV) is a people centered development and welfare programme. Public representatives, government functionaries and representatives of various community based organization will visit Gram Panchayats and Municipal Wards during JBMV programme.
Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao held a preparatory meeting with all the concerned Departments involves in JBMV programme commencing on 2nd January 2016. He said that first phase of JBMV was conducted in the year 2014 October concentrated on the areas of Pensions, Health Camps, Veterinary Camps, sensitizing peoples through five Campaings, grievance redressal and preparation and collection of data through Micro Plan.
Second Phase of JBMV conducted during 3rd to 7th June focused on distribution of rations through Public Distribution System (PDS), sensitization on primary, social empowerment, knowledge, skill development of Urban Mission, information sharing on Farmers loan redemption, Capital Infusion to DWACRA Groups, issues of passbooks and distribution to NTR Bharosa Pensioners and Grievances redressal.
The main theme of the third phase JBMV commencing on 2nd January 2016 is 'Smart Village ' Smart Ward towards Smart Andhra Pradesh' (SVSW). The thrust areas of present JBMV is to facilitate interacting of the partners of SVSW with Government Officials and community; sensitizing the partners and community on 20 non-negotiable of the SVSW programme; sensitizing the partners and community on baselines survey of the SVSW programme.
Creating awareness of all Government Schemes related to 20 non-negotiable of SVSW, distribution of existing pensions, sanctioning and distribution of new rations cards, sanctioning of houses and verification of eligibility for new houses, conducting of health and veterinary camps; action taken report on grievances and assurances of previous JBMV and registering of new grievances and assurances will be taken up in the third phase JBMV, Chief Secretary informed.
The Chief Secretary issued instructions that District Collectors are to prepare the visit schedule of each team and give wide publicity in each Gram Panchayats and Municipal Wards in advance. Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department and Municipal Administration and Urban Development Departments to take up One-Day training programme at Mandal and Municipality Level to all the JBMV members to sensitize them on the thrust areas of the third phase of JBMV.
Guidelines for third phase JBMV on SVSW are prepared, the Chief Secretary said.
