Trisha signs for fianc' first film
Actress Trisha Krishnan recently got engaged with businessman turned Producer Varun Manain in a hush 'hush ceremony. Now as per reports Trisha signed for a new film to be produced by her fiance Varun Manian under his home banner Radiance Media.
Trisha is going to play traditional village belle in the film and the story of the film set against the backdrop of Kumbakonam in Tanjavur district of Tamil Nadu
"Trisha was so stunned by her exceptional character that she didn't want to miss it. The actress will be seen essaying a village belle against the backdrop of Kumbakonam and she will be present throughout the film," read a statement.
The film features Jai Sampath in the lead role. Regular shooting of the film will start from March.
Trisha recently said that she has no plans of 'quitting films' and that instead.This year, Trisha awaits the release of her films 'Bhoologam', 'Yennai Arindhaal', 'RUM', 'Lion' and 'Appa Takkaru'. This is Trisha's first film after her engagement to Varun.
