Police arrests Fake Akkineni Akhil
Fan clubs and Fans associations are gone things! Now, whoever has the highest Likes or Followers on Twitter is the True star. They have become the true parameters for his/her stardom. We have each and every actors from the Industry using the social networking sites to share their feelings with their fans.
When there are official accounts, there are also Fake accounts. Many enthusiasts open accounts on the name of various heroes and heroines and the poor ignorant fans sincerely and seriously follow them. Sometimes this will land them in trouble and creates unnecessary problems. Same thing was happened for some of the fans who blindly believed a fake profile of Akkineni Akhil. Cyber Crime Police arrested a person for allegedly operating a fake Facebook account with the profile name Akkineni Akhil and posting derogatory comments.
According to police, a youth named Abhinav has created fake accounts in platforms like Facebook and Twitter on the name of Akhil Akkineni. Some of the girls, who thought he was real Akhil, started sending messages to him and in turn they gets some weird messages from this profile. It raised doubt in one of the girl and she approached police and filed case.
Cops tracked the person using his IP (Internet Protocol) address. Cases have been registered against the culprit as per the IT Act. Akhil is not only the first person to face the impersonation. Apparently, many film actresses suffer from the problem of fake ids and profiles on the net.
