Legendary Filmmaker Ramanaidu is no more Senior producer and Movie Mogul D.Ramanaidu passed away leaving everyone in tollywood tear filled. The 78 year old veteran producer was suffering from prostate cancer for quite some time and breathed his last around 2.45 PM this afternoon.

He was the founder of Suresh Productions and holds the Guinness Book of World Records for the most films produced by an individual, having produced more than 155 films in 13 Indian languages. He produced movies in almost all Indian languages.
He also won several awards for his contribution towards Indian cinema. In 2012, Ramanaidu was conferred with the third highest civilian award, the Padma Bhushan. In 2009 he received the Dada Saheb Phalke Award for Lifetime Achievement in the film industry for his outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Indian cinema.
He is survived by wife Daggubati Rajeshwari, two sons - Venkatesh and Suresh and a daughter - Lakshmi, who happens to be the first wife of actor Nagarjuna. He has also served as a member of parliament for the Bapatla constituency of Guntur District.
Soon as news broke of his death, tollywood celebrities offered their condolences to the bereaved family. The entire Indian film industry is mourning his demise! May his soul rest in peace.
