Glamorous actress making comeback as Cherry's mother
Ram Charan is busy with Sreenu Vaitla directorial titled tentatively as My Name Is Raju. The film makers are reportedly hunting for a glamorous actress to play mother role of Cherry which is said to be very crucial in the film. The likes of Ramya Krishna, Tulasi and Jeevitha Rajasekhar were explored but the unit is reportedly looking for yesteryear actresses who can deliver a strong performance.
Now, one name seems to be getting zeroed in. It is none other than beautiful Sobhana . As per mega compound beautiful and talented actress Sobhana has been finalized to play mother role to Cherry. Shobana is well known name among Telugu audience. Her films like Abhinandana, April Okati Vidudala, Appula Apparao, Allari Alludu, Vikram, etc were all box office hits. She was last appeared in Game movie in 2006.
Vaitla's last film Aagadu was a box office dud while Charan's GAV was an average runner. So, both of them are now keen on delivering a hit. Rajendra Prasad is going to play Cherry's father role in the movie and official confirmation about the star cast will be revealed soon.
Few years back, Malayalam actress Nadia made a big appearance in Prabhas' Mirchi as mother and now she has huge offers coming her way. Now it's time for Shobana to don the role of mother, maybe this Mallu lady also find huge following for her new avatar!
