NBK Lion goes to Gemini for record price Ever since Nandamuri Balakrishna's Legend released the actor's form changed from good to better and his projects are grabbing heavy attention. The actor is currently gearing up to attack the box office with his upcoming venture 'Lion'.
The most-craziest project of Telugu at present, 'Lion' has been creating sensations in trade circles, much-before to the release itself. As per latest reports, the satellite rights of Lion movie were grabbed by Gemini TV for about Rs 6.5 Crores. This news is enough to double the expectations on the movie.
Makers of the 'Lion' are planning to release the film in the month of April 2015. Currently the movie is in its last leg of shooting and the makers are planning to release the audio on March 28th.
Starring Trisha Krishnan and Radhika Apte, Lion is the first film after Balakrishna turned as MLA of Hindupur. So, movie has been made with extra care. On top of it, we had two blockbusters from the Nandamuri family - Pataas and Temper. So, nevertheless to say expectations are high upon Lion movie.
Balakrishna plays a CBI officer in the film. According to a source Balakrishna's role is based on the real CBI officer J.D. Lakshminarayana, who is popular because of the Jagan Mohan Reddy case.
The source added that some scenes relating to that case have been added to the film. So debutante director Satya Deva really has a big challenge before him and hopes he has a story which can meet the expectations on Balakrishna fans.
