Divorce petition rumors: Arjun fires on media
A report in a leading daily has invited the wrath of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal. There was a report published in a leading tabloid mentioning that Arjun Rampal is going to separate with his wife and former model Mehr Jessia. The reports extended Arjun and his wife Mehr Jesia had filed for divorce in a Bandra court.
However, the actor has taken to Twitter to lash out at the press for their reports. Slamming it as irresponsible reporting and cooked up story, Arjun Rampal has said that he has not filed for any divorce petition.
An angry Arjun said it was actually models Marc Robinson and Waluscha De Sousa at the court. Arjun further said that he will not be talking about his personal life with press from now.
Arjun Rampal wrote on Twitter, "My wife and I where at Bandra court filing a divorce? Say, Midday few others. U know it's really easy to find that out. Did u bother? The truth about Bandra court? The couple were old friend Marc Robbinson and Wallucha.Oops they got their facts all wrong again. The state of affairs about journalists in India. They on group chats on wasapp and cook up stories.Thats where news is made.That's the truth." (sic)
"From today I refuse to do any personal interviews or discuss my personal life with any media person.Mind your own business. #fakepress," he tweeted
Arjun Rampal and former Miss India Mehr Jesia tied the knot in 1988 and have two daughters ' Myra and Mahikaa. Arjun was recently blamed for the divorce of their close friends Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Roshan. Earlier some tabloids reported that closeness of Arjun with Sussanne Khan is the reason of fallout between Hrithik and Sussane. It was also reported that the two had gone on a vacation together, much to the discomfort of Rampal's wife, model Mehr Jessia.
