Demanding 25 Crores for satellite rights Rajamouli's prestigious magnum opus Baahubali is giving a blockbuster impression much before its release only.The film'is setting new records that were previously unheard of, prior to its release only. The movie is scheduled for 'May 2015 release and is already breaking records in its business.
This magnum opus period drama has already created records in its pre-release business in Nizam, Ceeded and Bengaluru regions. Now as per reports competition was very high for acquiring the film's satellite rights.
As per reports popular Telugu channel network MAA TV is in talks with the Baahubali makers regarding satellite rights. Makers are reportedly quoting price of 25 crores for two parts satellite rights. But TV channel is bargaining with the makers and trying to acquire the first part satellite rights for anywhere between 12 to 15 crores. According to trade pundits, this is so far the highest price for any Telugu cinema.
If Baahubali figures are true, then it is indeed a historic deal that the makers have managed to ink. It is an obvious fact that this film' garner the highest TRP for any channel and hence the heavy betting is on. Given the fact that this is the biggest film ever in the history of Tollywood, the stakes are touching the sky.
This is certainly a welcoming sign for Baahubali movie that is touted to have an investment close to Rs. 150 crores, Baahubali Part 1 is gearing up for the release on 15th'of this May while the audio will be out in the month of April.Wishing Rajamouli's Baahubali' all the very best to break all the records once it releases!
