Telugu producer engaged with WI Cricket Legend daughter
Popular Bollywood fashion designer Masaba Gupta, daughter of veteran actress Neena Guptaand cricketer Vivian Richards, has got engaged to her beau Madhu Mantena, a film producer at the Marriott hotel in Mumbai.
Masaba is daughter of television actress and director-producer, Neena Gupta, and WI cricketer, Vivian Richards. And, Madhu is one of the co-founders of the film production company, Phantom Films. Madhu Mantena was born in Hyderabad and he is in film production business from many years. He produced several Bollywood films apart from distributing many Tollywood films. Madhu is the producer of RGV critically acclaimed film Raktha Charitra.
In 2008, Madhu Mantena debuted as a film producer with his very first film, Ghajini. Since then he has produced several films including the tri-lingual, two-part, magnum opus, Rakht Charitra, Jhootha Hi Sahi, Autograph, and the political thriller Rann.
Masaba Gupta is well known fashion designer . She has designed outfits for Bollywood actresses such as Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Mandira Bedi, etc. Since July 2009, she sells designer merchandise using label 'Masaba'. Masaba was born to Vivian Richards and Neena Gupta out of wedlock. The duo were in relationship in 1980s and Neena nursed the child as an unwed mother.
Vivian Richards who failed to attend his daughter engagement has promised her that he'll make it to her wedding. Through AV Richards has also warned his to-be son-in-law Madhu to take a good care of Masaba. The fashion designer and Madhu Mantena will tie knot in November this year.
