Telugu director booked in Drunk & Drive
'Drunk and Drive' cases are not new to us and our film celebrities. Twice in a month we heard about our film celebs getting caught under drunk and drive cases. There were cases where some have even lost their driving licenses in these drunk and drive charges.
Now another noted director caught in drunk and drive case. Ranam director Amma Rajasekhar was arrested for driving a four-wheeler while being drunk. He was caught during a routine drunk-n-drive check-up at the Jubilee Hills Check-post.
Amma Rajasekhar was found driving car with more than the permissable limit of alcohol. The breath analyser test recorded very high points. His Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was found to be 40 mg per 100 ml, which is above the permissible limit of 30 mg per ml.
His family members too were present in the car at the time of the checkup. His car was seized by police at Jubilee Hills Checkpost and a case was registered. After counselling, the case would be produced in the court.
Few celebrities were also booked for drunken driving earlier. These incidents will definitely damage their reputation somehow. Meanwhile, Amma Rajasekhar's Ranam 2 is gearing up for a release shortly.
