Actress chases and caught her molester
Even after the shocking gang-rape of a nun shook the nation, the cases of sexual violence against women are still emerging. What could have easily transformed into another shocking case, a TV actress escaped a man who made inappropriate advances against her.
Mona Wasu , a small time actress had a bad experience while coming back to her home at Madh Island from Versova, Mumbai Saturday night.She was allegedly molested by a person while returning from work, but the actress beat him up and got him arrested.
As per Mona a young man suddenly came close to her and touched her inappropriately and tried to escape away as though he did nothing.
Mona says, "I was returning home and this guy rubbed me in a wrong way. So, I chased him and caught and beat him and then handed him over to the police besides registering an FIR. The cops dropped me home."
The accused was identified as Inder Gupta, a local aged 28. Police have booked the accused under Sections 354 and 509 of the IPC. Mona Wasu, was last seen in Anurag Kashyap's TV show "Yudh" where she shared the screen space with Big B Amitabh Bachchan. Well the actress deserves applause and the way she got back the molester behind the bars bravely is truly inspiring.
