What? Superstar undergoes surgery?
Tamil superstar and 'Thala' Ajith Kumar has undergone a minor surgery in Chennai. He is now recovering well at a specially sterilized room. As per reports the 'Premalekha' actor underwent Septoplasty and functional endoscopic sinus surgery on Tuesday at a private hospital.
In a statement, his publicist said the surgery was performed by an ENT specialist on Tuesday morning. Septoplasty is a surgical procedure to correct a deviated nasal septum. Ajith of late suffering with breathing problems and he was advised to go under surgery by his doctors.
Ajith recently blessed with a baby boy and his wife Shalini gave birth to a kid. On the professional front, Ajith is on a break after completing "Yennai Arindhaal", which was released on 5 February. Ajith will next appear under Siva direction.
While the film was supposed to go on floors in February, the birth of his child and the impending surgery, forced him to take a break. He is expected to join the shoots next month.The movie will now hit the floors on 14 April for Tamil New Year. The cast and crew are yet to be finalised. But there are rumors that Shruti Haasan is going to play the female lead in the film.
Wish that, Ajith will start attending his next movie shootings at the earliest possible.
