Exclusive: 'Avunu 2' First Day First Show talk
Director Ravi Babu is known for his unconventional films like Allari, Amaravathi, Avunu is back with his new film. Ravi Babu's new film is sequel of his last release Avunu, which received rave reviews from viewers and critics alike, similar to his earlier films.
Avunu 2 released today and the initial reports suggests that the film is a worth to watch.In the end of 'Avunu', Harsha goes into an operation theatre and you see some footsteps following inside. The sequel starts from that point.
Mohini ( Poorna) after surviving from the spirit of Captain Raju, is under the impression that it must have left her. Her Husband also survives the fatal attack .On hearing the attack, Harsha's parents try to come to him but they die in a fatal accident.
During the rituals at Varanasi, a aghora warns Mohini that the spirit will haunt her.The couple decide to move to the new apartment in the heart of the city.His friend Mohan (Chintu) helps him get into the apartment.
But Captain Raju's spirit continues to haunt her and Mohini faced several problems due to him.Ravibabu once again managed to pull the needed suspense from the film and the lead actors Poorna and Harshavardan performed really well.
Though climax looked something similar to the first part, he kept viewers glued to the screens. Poorna's performance, Shekar Chandra Background score, Ravi Babu's screenplay and direction are highlights.
On the flip side Slow first half, Similar climax and Predictable story line are said to be the lowlights of the film.The film is crucial for the director to make further films as his last few films after Avunu have been major duds at the box office.
