Daggubati Rana is 'Patas' real hero...
Tollywood tall hunk Rana came to limelight with path breaking film like Leader. Later he tried to establish as commercial hero but all his attempts got failed and he turned concentrating on character roles. He signed for villain role in Rajamouli's prestigious film Bahubali and from then on he is having no time to sign new films.Due to Baahubali Rana missed chance of acting in a highly commercially successful movie.
Debutant director Anil Ravipudi has delivered a stunning entertainer this year with "Pataas". Initally the film director approached Rana and he even narrated the story. The moment Rana started shooting for Baahubali Anil Ravipudi narrated Pataas story to him. But if he does, he cannot shoot for Bahubali and so he reluctantly refused the film.
Patas is one of the best entertainers in recent times. The film is not just limited for Nandamuri fans. It has hilarious elements for common audience too. Anil Ravipudi dialogues and direction, Sai Karthik music, Shruti Sodhi glamour were other big add-ons for Patas. The film provides a sigh of relief for Kalyan Ram. In one word, director Anil Ravipudi has shown the first film fury from start to end.
Had Rana did Pataas he would have established himself as commercial hero and entertained movie lovers with mass films. 'Pataas is such a stunning movie that would have pushed Rana into new heights and stardom as a hero. However he sacrificed all this for Bahubali.
