'Jil' first week Worldwide collections
As predicted, Gopichand-Raashi Khanna starrer film Jil , which released in over 700 screens around the world on 27 March, debuted with superb response.But the film failed to keep the momentum and fall in the collections were observed.The film collected 9 crores worldwide by end of first week run.
The collections are expected to drop again in the coming days due to new releases. The release of a S/O Satyamurthy is likely to reduce the screen count for "GAV". This will, in turn, affect the film's business prospects.
Jil is a debut film for the director Radha Krishna. Though the base storyline sounds novel, he chose a conventional method of narration.
