TRS warns agitations over Judiciary quota Hyderabad, Sept 15 (INN): Telangana Rashtra Samithi floor leader Etela Rajendra warned government that agitations over the issue of quota for Telanganaites in Judiciary posts would gather more strength if it does not take necessary action. Talking to media persons on Wednesday after a meeting with Information and Public Relation Minister J Geetha Reddy, Mr Rajender said that a three-member Panel to solve the problems of lawyers would be a temporary solution.
He questioned that why were Telangana people not appointed to the post of Advocate-General since the past 53 years and inspite of demands from various quarters. The TRS Floor Leader pointed out that the failure of the government to fill the 170 vacancies in district Courts and Munsif Courts with capable persons from Telangana region.
