File report on CIs misbehavior: SHRC to DGP Hyderabad, Sept 17 (INN): Demanding suspension of Kushaiguda Circle Inspector T Manohar Reddy for misbehaving with girls during a protest on Hyderabad Liberation Day, a girl student on Saturday knocked the doors of State Human Rights Commission seeking justice. Admitting the petition of B Tech girl, SHRC interim chairman K Peda Peri Reddy on Saturday directed the Director General of Police K Aravinda Rao to submit a comprehensive report on entire incident before the Commission by September 27.
In her complaint, the victim stated that the Circle Inspector misbehaved with the girls and used foul language. She sought suspension of him from duties and the initiating of disciplinary action against the Inspector. The Commission would initiate action based on the submission of DGP report.
According to reports, the CI had put his hand on the girls waist and pushed her away during the flag hoisting on the sub-registrars office in Kushaiguda to mark Hyderabad Liberation Day. Meanwhile, representatives of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarti Parishad also filed petitions seeking the SHRCs intervention in the lewd case.
