City road repair works soon: Danam Hyderabad, Sept 21 (INN): Admitting that the city roads were badly damaged in the recent heavy rains, Health and Family Welfare Minister Danam Nagender on Tuesday stated that the government would take up repair works on these roads in the city from September 23. Talking to media persons at the Secretariat, Mr Nagender also commented on the targeting of former chief minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddys brother-in-law and Kadapa Mayor Ravindranath Reddy in connection with fertilizers issue. He said that that the government would not buckle to such tricks by the opposition and the law would take its own course.
Reacting on the Telangana Ministers complaint against four Congress MPs were damaging the party image by issuing statements affecting the party interests, the Minister said that I have contacted MP Madhu Yashki over telephone and clarified the issue with him. The media has misrepresented his statements, he said. The Minister said that the Congress leaders would stick to the decision of High Command over the Telangana statehood issue.
He called upon all people and religious heads to maintain peace and restraint during Ganesh immersion and in the wake of Allahabad High Court set to deliver its verdict on Babri Masjid title suit on September 24.
