Do not believe rumours: TRS minority cell Hyderabad, Sept 21 (INN): Telangana Rashtra Samithi Minority leaders on Tuesday held a round table conference to discussed the Ganesh Immersion procession and the expected verdict on the Babri Masjid title suit by the Allahabad High Court on September 24 at Wood Bridge Hotel in Lakdi-ka-pul. Talking to media persons later, TRS minority leader Iniyath Ali Baquiri requested people to maintain peace and harmony of the Hyderabad City in the light of intelligence reports of the possibility of rumours being spread which could create communal disturbances.
Mr Baquiri added that people should not hold their celebrations so that peace is maintained and instead offer prayers. If one party is not happy with the verdict, then it should approach the Supreme Court and seek justice. He further added that people should ignore scrolling on television sets, SMSes, rumours against the verdict.
The TRS leader further added that the TRS aim was to keep peace and harmony in the state. He pointed out that peace and harmony had been maintained from the period of Nizams.
