BJP protests at Haritha Mixing plant foiled Nalgonda, Sept 23 (INN): The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday staged a protest in front of Haritha Mixing plant at Damaracharla allegedly owned by Kadapa Mayor P Ravindranath Reddy demanding closure of plant for supplying inferior quality fertilizers to farmers. He BJP activists were led by senior party leader Bandaru Dattatreya.
The BJP activists made an attempt to brush aside the security and barge in the plant. Their efforts were foiled by the alert police by taking the protestors under custody. Mr Dattatreya told the activists that the fertilizers, meant for the farmers were being diverted in to the black market.
