Traffic violating youth counselled on safety Hyderabad, Oct 5 (INN): Traffic Police on Tuesday continued with their counselling campaign against errant teenagers and their parents who have been caught violating traffic norms at the Traffic Training Institute in Goshamahal. According to Traffic Training Institute Instructor Adil Aktar, 120 youths, along with their parents were counselled on Tuesday, after cases were booked against them for violating the traffic rules.
The counselling session are aimed at educating these youth about the traffic rules and the hazard of violating these norms. Deputy Commissioner of Police, (Traffic) Mallareddy told INN that jumping of signals and rash driving have led to accidents where not only the violators, but also other commuters had lost their live.
He said that the youth, who also have the power to change the fate of the country, have a responsibility to follow traffic rules as they. Mr Mallareddy said that most of youth are booked under Sections 181, 184 and 130/177 for violating rules. The vehicles seized by the police during the special drive were returned to their parents after the compounding fee was paid.
