Two die, 12 injured in road mishaps
Medak, Oct 6 (INN): At least two persons were killed and another 12 seriously injured in separate accidents in the state on Wednesday. According to police, at least two persons were killed on the spot in a collision that took place between a car and bus, at Midmipur in Kondapaka mandal in Medak district. According to police, the two persons were travelling in a car when it collided with an oncoming bus. The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained. The police have sent the bodies to Government Hospital in Medak for autopsy.
In another incident 12 commuters sustained injuries when a shared auto-rickshaw driver lost control over his vehicle. The auto-rickshaw overturned at Muddannapalli in Ramakuppam mandal in Chittoor district. The police have shifted all the injured to nearby hospital. Among the injured, the condition of two of the victims is stated to be serious.
