TLCA Annual Competitions on 23rd
New York: Telugu Literary and Cultural Association (TLCA) of NY, NJ, CT is conducting their annual talent competitions in various categories. These competitions will be held on Saturday, October 23rd 2010. Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and the venue will be at The Glen Oaks School, 80-51, 261st Street, Floral Park, N.Y. 11004, TLCA President Shiva Kumar Muthiki and Secretary Vikram Jangam informed in a press note.
The last date for receiving the filled Application form along with the check is October 14th. Incomplete applications and the applications postmarked after October 14th will not be considered.
Competition Categories are Classical Music, Light Music (Non-Classical), Classical Dance Solo, Film / Folk Dance Solo, Elocution, Essay Writing and Drawing. Age Groups are Below 9, 9 - 13, 14 - 19 and 20 & above.
TLCA is one of the earliest Indian Associations in North America and the first Telugu association started in 1971. The TLCA was formed with the primary goal of promoting the Telugu Literary and Cultural Activities in the Tristate area.
