Dy Mayor for talks with encroachers in Hyd City Hyderabad, Oct 14 (INN): Deputy Mayor Jaffar Hussain and MLC Altaf Hyder Razvi, along with senior Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation officials visited and inspected the ongoing works in Fatehnagar area on Wednesday.
The Officials explained them about the problems for removal of 28 encroachments on both the sides. Greenlands to Fatehnagar road is being laid at a cost of Rs 23 crore and Balkampet road under bridge at a cost of Rs 13 crore, for which the foundation stone was laid by former chief minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy three years ago.
The concerned local Corporators were also present at the inspection and assured that they will coordinate with the encroachers and requested the Deputy Mayor and the MLC to rehabilitate the encroachers in any one of the Weaker Sections Housing Schemes, so that they would not be much problem in removing the encroachments.
Mr Jaffar Hussain and Mr Razvi directed the officials to look in to it and make necessary arrangements for rehabilitation seeking the approval of the Commissioner and the General Body, so that the works can be completed in stipulated time, to ease traffic congestion on the above said sites.
Additional Commissioner (Planning) Rajendra Prasad, Additional Commissioner (UCD)Priyadarshini, Chief City Planner Raghu, (ENC) Pandu Ranga Rao and other senior officials of GHMC accompanied the Deputy Mayor and the MLC.
