Italian Mayor visits GHMC
Hyderabad, Oct 14 (INN): Mayor of Udine, Italy, Furio Honsell on Wednesday called on Hyderabad Mayor Banda Karthika Reddy at her chambers in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation head office, and exchanged views on various issues including waste management, sewage management, water supply, traffic management, etc. Deputy Mayor Jaffer Hussain also participated in this meeting.
The Mayor explained to Mr Furio Honsell about the GHMC and elections to the Corporators posts. She enquired about the political system of Udine city. Both the Mayors agreed for continuous exchange of views in future also. Deputy Mayor Jaffer Hussain appraised the Mayor of Udine about the uniqueness of Hyderabad culture and heritage.
Mr Furio Honsell said that India is Super Power not only in the history, but also in the future, and expressed happiness at his visit to Hyderabad.
