Toll rises to 3 in LPG cylinder explosion
Hyderabad, Oct 25 (INN): The Death toll in LPG cylinder explosion which occurred at Wisdom Working Woman Hostel, Indranagar, Gachibowli on Sunday has risen to three with the death of Yelamanchili Damayanti in the early hours of Monday. Damayanti was 80 and was undergoing treatment in Apollo DRDO hospital in Kanchanbagh where she was rushed after the blast. According to Sub-Inspector V Narsimha Chary, Damayanti died while undergoing treatment in the hospital in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
The LGP cylinder blast had killed the watchman Ramesh (35) on the spot while another critically injured inmate, Renuka Sanghani (24), died while undergoing treatment at a hospital soon after. The other victims in the blast, Vamsi, Anupama, Bharathi, Hasnain, Pavansree, Aadi Lakshmi, Umadevi, Indu and Jaya are still stated to be in a serious condition.
