Congress Minority Cell demands ban on Hindutva outfits Hyderabad, Oct 27 (INN): Activists of the Congress Minority Cell, led by cell chairman Mohammad Sirajuddin on Wednesday staged a dharna at Basheer Bagh crossroads, demanding a ban on Hindutva organizations; the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal, for their alleged involvement in acts of terror.
Demanding action against the Ajmer blast accused in the wake of Central Bureau of Investigation filing the charge-sheet naming an RSS functionary as one of the accused, the Minority cell chairman demanded the Centre, State Government and Director General of Police to ban these organizations immediately.
The Congress activists raised slogans against Hindutva outfits and staged the dharna demanding action against RSS leader Indresh Kumar for his alleged involvement in the blasts. The CBI had included the name of RSS leader Indresh Kumar in the charge-sheet for the Ajmer Dargah blast case. The police dispersed the protestors after taking some of them in custody.
