Two held for storing firecrackers illegally Hyderabad, Oct 29 (INN): Task Force Sleuths on Friday arrested two persons during raids on warehouses storing firecrackers illegally. Firecrackers worth approximately Rs 11 lakhs were also seized during the raids. According to Task Force Inspector Srinivas Kumar, the raids were conducted after the sleuths received credible information over the illegal storage of firecrackers.
The raids took place at godown at Char Kaman, Gulzar Houz, in the old city. The traders who had imported the huge quantity of firecrackers, Harinath Goud and Ashish Gupta were taken into custody. Ashish Gupta is the son of Harinath Gouds brother. The firecrackers were imported from Chennai and stored in the godowns without the traders possessing proper license from concerned authorities. Sleuths also seized crackers worth Rs 11 lakh from the godown. The arrested traders were handed over to Charminar police.
