Declare Bathukamma a National fete
Hyderabad, Oct 30(INN): Telangana Writers' Forum General Secretary Juloori Gowrishankar on Saturday appealed to the government to recognise 'Bathukamma Festival' as an National festival, which was being celebrated by 2.5 crore Telangana people. Speaking to media persons at the Secretariat on Saturday, Mr Gowrishankar pointed out that 'Bathukamma' was part of the Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi and urged the state and central governments to do the needful.
