RR dist. court PP killed in road mishap
Khammam, Nov 3 (INN): Ranga Reddy district Court Public Prosecutor Anand Rao and his 12-year-old son were killed in a road mishap at Thallampadu in Khammam district late on Tuesday night. According to Inspector Naresh Reddy, the mishap occurred when the 45-year-old Public Prosecutor was on his way to attend the funeral of his relatives. The car in which Mr Anand Rao and his family were travelling was hit by a speeding lorry coming from the opposite direction. The Public Prosecutor and his son were killed on the spot.
Four members of his family, including wife Jyothi (42), daughter Anusha (14), mother-in-law Goppamma (60) and brother-in-law Ravi (35) received injuries in the mishap. Police reached the spot on getting information and shifted the victims to hospital for autopsies. A case has been registered under section 304-A IPC. Attempts are on to nab the absconding lorry driver.
