TV Nandi awards nominee list released Hyderabad, Nov 10 (INN): The jury appointed to examine the entries for prestigious Nandi Awards for television submitted its list to Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Wednesday. Jury committee chairman P Chandrasekhar Reddy and APSFTVDC Managing Director Parthasaradhi submitted the list of awardees to Chief Minister. Mr Parthasaradhi told media persons that Andhra Pradesh is one and only the state giving this Nandi Awards for TV industry. He said the committee has received 50 entries from Tollywood which were produced in the year 2010 and censored on or before December 31, 2010.
The government will distribute these Nandi awards at a function to be held at Lalitha Kala Thoranam on the occasion of Ugadi festival. The list names Vipranarayana as the first best tele-film, Wow as the first best TV feature, Sri Sri Sri Pothuluri Veera Brahmendra Swamy Charitra as the first best TV mega serial, Mogali Rekulu as the first best TV daily serial and Ashadeepam as the first best TV childrens film. The first best TV documentary film was named as Cheryal Kalakruthulu and Daily Mirror was named the first best TV socially relevant film.
