TAGDV celebrated Deepavali with Nikesha


Telugu Association of Greater Delaware Valley (TAGDV) celebrated Deepavali - the festival of lights with high energy and enthusiasm at Tredyffrin / Easttown Middle School in Berwyn, PA on Saturday November 13th.

Komaram Puli Heroine Nikesha Patel attended as Chief Guest and Tollywood Dhamaka Team Reverse Gear Guruswamy, Vidya Rao, Sri Ramya and Neethu Patel attended as Guests for the Deepavali Program. Gemini TV Anchor and TV Actress Sree Lakshmi anchored the Event.

A crowd of approximately 500 attended the Deepavali event which started with performances by the local kids. Everybody enjoyed the program with their kids and families until midnight. Mouth watering food was served by the Brindavan Caterers (Venkteswar Reddy).

Sailaja Adluru, President of Telugu Association of Greater Delaware Valley (TAGDV) welcomed the gathering and thanked all the TAGDV members for their generous support and contributions to TAGDV. She also encouraged to promote the local talent in future upcoming events and requested everyone to be part of TAGDV family by taking Membership.

The evening was filled with exciting events and the program started traditionally with Prayer Song by Varshika and Sumana followed by events with like classical, folk, Movie dance, songs, drama, Comedy, which were performed by Alekhya Gunturi,Priyanka Sagare,Swathi Group, Maanasa Govindarajula, Meghana Chigurupati, Swati Vipperla, Srikar Govindarajula, Srinath, Govindarajula,Shriya Koneru, Shilpa Koneru, Aanika Varma, Varalika Ananth ,Sindhura Siddapureddy, Hanish Polavarapu and Nithi Eluri.

The prime time program in the evening filled with non-stop performances by Reverse Gear Guruswamy, Vidya Rao, Sri Ramya and Neethu Patel and well received by packed audience with a nonstop standing ovation. Singer Couple Krishna & Lalitha Rani mesmerized audience with their songs.

Trophies were presented to all the participants by TAGDV Executive Committee - Sailaja Adluru, Madhavi Mandala, Ravi Potluri, Padmini Karanam, Lalitha Rallapalli, Madhu Divyakola, Ravi Mandalapu, Sambaiah Kotapati, Bhaskar Sarikonda, Shanthi Korutla and Suresh Reddy. The host and all the guests stayed until the end of the program and thoroughly enjoyed the programs.

The program ended with a vote of thanks from secretary Ravi Potluri, followed by National Anthem Janaganamana.

The entire TAGDV executive Committee & members and well wishers deserve to be proud of itself for organizing such a event so successfully. With the help of all the following people the program was such a big success Vijaya Paruchuri, Ratna Kosaraju, Suresh Paruchuri, Praveen Reddy, Sunil Koganti, Surendra Adusumalli, Bala Karanam, Swarupa Kotapati, Sreekanth Segireddy, Srinivas, Radhika Koneru, Ramana Ganne, Abhiruchi Srinath and Kiran Duggirala many others.
